Long ago, there lived a couple who had a dairy farm. They were poor and spent much of their H-WJp<_ time wishing for things they did not have. dW)B1iUo! Often the man would say, "I wish I were handsome" or "I wish I had more cows." '>NCMB{* Frequently the woman would say, "I wish I were wealthy" or "I wish I were a beautiful princess." x`U^OLV One day, some fairies heard their wishes and decided to conduct an experiment. They went kh!FR u h to the couple and granted them three wishes. Whatever they wished would be granted. dFRsm0T The couple talked a long time about what they should wish for. But after a while they became NYt&@Z}] hungary, and from force of habit, the woman suddenly said,"I wish I had some sausages to eat." P !AEf#1 Immediately her market basket was full of sausages. . kQkC:~9 Then a heated argument began because the hasband said that his wife had wasted one of their 2-&k^Gl!: valuable wishes on such a cheap thing as sausages. The argument grew hotter, and finally in Q8C_9r/:N> anger the wife said, " I wish these sausages were hanging from your nose!" X]'{(?Ch Of course the sausages immediately flew to the poor man's nose and stayed there. Nor could 7OC#8, they be removed. Now there was only one thing the poor woman could do. She really loved her ;l4[%xld husband, and so she had to spend their third wish in removing the sausages from his nose. MPCBT!o
